Ek Khwahish - A dream coincidental

And presenting my new shayr (Hindi-Urdu poetry) inspired by the way my favourite Farhan Akhtar recites his poetry....these lines are mine, but his style.. :) :)

"Aaj aankhein band karke mehsoos hua,
ki palko ke neeche ek raaz hai,
hazaaro phoolo se saja ek taalaab,
mehakti hawa aur bulbul ki awaaz hai..

Veham hai ya koi aisi bhi hai jagah,
jo aksar baahe failaye bulaati hai,
kehti hai shayad yehi tera makaam hai,
shayad yehi pe,
baaki zindagi jeene ka armaan hai..

Mehsoos hua,
waha bheeni si bheegi si khushbu bhi hai,
patto mein pattharo mein
khul kar jeene ki arzoo si hai..

Jaha paak ya na paak kuch nahi,
dard se rooh ka shor nahi,
khush rango se saji hai wo kayanaat,
dekha, jannat se jaise ru baru si hai..

Aaj aankhein band karke hairat hua,
socha yehi ek khwahish hai,
baahe failaye isi falak tale,
jeene ki farmaish hai.."

Rope of Faith

                                           

                                                         "ROPE of FAITH"


Knowing not the one at the other end,
the rope of faith gets stronger with passing days,
so vulnerably it is harnessed, can't just pretend,
even the road behind stares in sheer decays !

Too strange the mellow in the wind that blows,
billowing from nowhere on this land so arid?
it's when you look up to the aurora afterglow,
it shows, it's right there, across the plains so pallid..

A painted hallucination smiling wickedly,
or picturesque perfect, Alas! wisdom decides,
But to a confused soul it's the sands of time,
honor or dishonor OR thy fate besides !!!

The Rope of Faith is all you have,
hold or drop OR thy fate besides !!!
